First discovered this place while having lunch at Dulys , directly across the street. An immediate love affair began the moment I stepped in the door. Like being transported to a different time and place , the kind that embraces the soul . the store is so well arranged and the goods are of a quality that appeals to the senses , the smell is amazing setting a very comfortable ambiance that is enjoyed by both young and old. The prices are fair to beyond fair . this place stands out in my mind as a very fine canvas upon which the most precious art is portrayed. It is an amazing experience. I do plan on returning soon in hopes to find a vintage hat and satchel and explore even more. Every visit holds new secret treasures awaiting to be found. The staff is Great .

I absolutely love this place. They have a large section of clothes and accessories. I find a unique vintage item every time I visit and Finn is the best!

This store is one of my favorite places to go for vintage clothing. The store is beautifully decorated and curated, you will truly be immersed in the vintage aesthetic. The staff is very friendly and personable and they have a great selection of quality clothing.

i absolutely adore flamingo vintage :) from the original antique fixtures, to the amazing selection with a range of sizes, shopping there is just over all a very fun experience! plenty of accessories too! and you cannot talk about flamingo vintage without mentioning their spectacular staff and owners! Andrew is a gem, with incredible knowledge regarding the history of garments. He will give you great advice regarding your purchases, and help you find exactly what will make you shine inside and out. Come on down!!

I've visited Flamingo a few times and the first thing that I noticed was the cozy vibe. It feels like visiting a friend after school. I recently visited Flamingo Vintage, and I was absolutely blown away! The store is a treasure trove of unique and stylish vintage pieces. The moment I walked in, I was greeted by the warm and welcoming staff who are clearly passionate about what they do. Not only did I have a great shopping experience, but I also left with some amazing finds that I can't wait to show off. If you love vintage fashion, Flamingo Vintage is a must-visit!

Wonderful experience, a great selection and the employee working was incredibly knowledgeable and helped me and my partner find the high waisted pants hes been looking for. I didnt catch the employees name but i'm really grateful to them.

I am happy to say I found my new favorite vintage store in the US! I work onboard cruise ships and shop vintage all over the world (over a hundred countries and every continent logged). This has now stolen the top spot from a boutique in New Zealand. This gorgeous shop has such amazing finds that I spent almost 2 hours and if I didn’t have to go back to work I would have spent longer because I’m sure I missed some amazing finds. Pricing is more than fair on great quality pieces. It’s also visually beautiful with everything sorted by colors and then sizes. I’m most impressed with the assortment of size ranges. Usually, my favorite eras of the 1940-1960’s are so small that it’s hard for me to find anything. Today I found 3 stunning dresses, 2 blouses, 1 sweater, 3 incredible vintage hats, 2 pairs of gloves and 1 gorgeous necklace/bracelet set. And Connor, behind the amazing counter that belonged to the original haberdashery that was at this location, was fun to chat with. (Thank you Connor!) It’s nice to have someone passionate about vintage. I didn’t go thru the men’s selection but it did look like a nice selection as well. I will for sure be back to this gem of a shop the next time I’m in town!!

If you're in the area and you love vintage and nostalgia, you have to stop in!! A great old shop on Vernor, a few doors from Holy Redeemer. The building itself is like going back in time. They carry vintage clothes, shoes, even Western vintage. There are hats and purses, buttons and stickers. Lots of Detroit themed items and unique finds!
